Boot loop after (intensive) tethering in LineageOS?

If you’re experiencing boot loops after an intensive tethering session with LineageOS, maybe the network statistics database is corrupted. It happens to me nearly once every two weeks or so (I use tethering a lot in this period).

You can boot into your recovery and move/delete /data/system/netstats directory to fix this issue.

Remember that you need to mount and decrypt your data partition to access the /data directory. To mount an encrypted Android partition, you need to have the passcode (or the “drawing pattern”, from which you can extract the passcode).
